Camden Yards' scoreboard, a large LCD screen, had picked up a winter's worth of grime and needed to be clean before the season started. VSI Aerial used a softwash approach, high flow, low pressure, but skipped chemical entirely and used deionized water instead, since this was a screen underneath, not siding or concrete that could take a cleaning solution.
The crew staged their rig in an alley next to the stadium, normally a pedestrian walkway, and closed it off for the job. From there, a hose manager carefully worked the hose out over the seating beneath the scoreboard so the drone could reach the screen itself without touching the seats or structure below.
