Mount Hood Legacy Hospital wasn't an especially large building, but its geometry ruled out a straightforward lift job. Some areas were impossible for a boom lift to reach at all, and a few spots in back were just as hard to get to because of the surrounding landscape. The contractor decided a Sherpa drone was the only way to actually take the job on. Without it, by their own account, they wouldn't have bid on the project at all.
The hospital added its own constraint on top of the access problem: no traditional sodium hypochlorite. The client wanted a chemical as close to bleach in performance as possible, same fast, visible results so the crew could move straight into rinsing, without it actually being bleach. The contractor sourced a product called Grime Busters Wash through Expert Power Wash to meet that requirement (confirmed via the matching video title below, corrects my earlier guess of "Cleans O2").
Compared to traditional methods, the drone saved an estimated one to two days on the job, days that would have meant more disruption for a working hospital. It also brought an unplanned benefit: nurses leaned out of windows to film it, people pulled out their phones, the kind of curiosity the contractor thinks could turn into more work on its own.
Legacy operates hospitals across multiple locations and, per the contractor, cares as much about exterior appearance as what's inside, a detail called out as a genuinely good client to work with.
