An early category

The work is established. The method still turns heads.

Commercial properties already pay for exterior cleaning and maintenance. What remains novel in many markets is delivering qualified work with a drone. That gives a new operator the chance to sell a familiar result with a highly visible point of difference.

Sell something customers already understand

Property owners already know their buildings need to be cleaned and maintained. You are not creating demand from scratch.

Sell a better way to get it done

Drone cleaning keeps more work on the ground, reduces dependence on lifts, ropes, and scaffolding, helps crews move more efficiently, and creates less disruption around the property.

Stand out in the market

The Sherpa drone turns heads, gives prospects something to remember, and creates content people want to watch. It is a novelty that earns attention because it also solves a practical access problem.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I'm ready to start a drone cleaning business?

Rate yourself on five things: market potential, available capital, dedicated time, ground operations, and commercial sales ability.

What services can a new drone cleaning business offer?

Most operators start with one service and add more later. The options are soft washing, window cleaning with the Window Payload, and water repellent application with the Shield Payload.

What equipment do I need besides the drone?

On the ground you need a cleaning rig: a compatible pump, water source, hose and reel, purification equipment for jobs that need it, chemistry and fittings, and a vehicle or trailer to haul it all.

What training comes with the Sherpa?

Lucid Bots provides hands-on flight practice and Sherpa Academy. Training also covers job qualification, airspace, weather, site planning, hose management, and work-zone controls.

Do I need a Part 107 certificate to clean with a drone?

Yes. Commercial drone operations in the U.S. require FAA Part 107 certification.
